Reading the lights

Green and red show confirmed skiing operations in the most recent available report. Gray means status is unconfirmed or the source report is stale. A dash means that field wasn’t reported; it is never counted as zero. Reported snow can be measured at different elevations. Check the official resort report before traveling.

Resort locations

Based on OpenSkiMap / OpenSkiData, © OpenStreetMap contributors, Skimap.org, Who’s On First, and © Mapterhorn. Mapped lift/run totals and vertical are estimates of the mapped mountain. The adapted inventory is available under the Open Database License.

Conditions reports

The atlas checks its connected operator feeds every 30 minutes. A second sweep reviews the full directory each morning, including resorts without a feed. Each reported status links to its source. Where a current report is unavailable, the badge stays gray and the operator website remains linked when available.

Satellite imagery

The regional overview uses NASA GIBS Blue Marble. Zoomed views use EOxCloudless by EOX IT Services GmbH (contains modified Copernicus Sentinel data 2016), CC BY 4.0. These historical images do not show current snow. Boundaries are from Natural Earth.
